Remove the Facebook Sidebar top part with updates with Facebook Ticker Remover
If you downloaded from another browser that is not Google Chrome, to install it you can move the file to Google Chrome's address bar
In both cases, you need to press "Install"
Don't forget to reopen Facebook again! Press F5, for example in your New Facebook Timeline.
